Tidal Ventures is a leading product-centric Seed investor in the Australian sector with offices in and New York.

I was approached by the team as they were re-branding and had only recently changed the company name. They needed a modern brand mark to help launch themselves into the market.

The Process

After speaking with key stakeholders, I understood they wanted a simple brand mark that represented both the company name and their desire to invest in a better world and therefore 'making waves'.

I started out sketching some concepts, as shown below.

Next, we took a few of the favourite concepts and fine-tuned them, to imagine how they would work in a final state.

The Final Brand and Guidelines

Once the mark was finalised, I moved on to create an extensive brand guidelines document, that outlined usage of the logo, as well as proving the team with some mockups for items such as business cards, email signatures, and more.
